The Kanndoo App does not directly collect personal data, but it does need to know a phone’s location in order to function.
We do not collect any personal information directly from you. You are not required to share any direct personal data (including name, image, or contact details such as address, email, and telephone number) in order for this app to function.
This app shows the location of help and support within a five mile radius of the user. In order to function correctly, a phone’s location settings must be turned on and location and a phone’s IP address will be shared with our server. However we do not in any way store, process or share this information. We use it purely functionally to show people where they are in relation to the help that is available.
Types of data collected:
While using our service, we do not ask you to provide us with any direct personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. The data we collect is as follows:
Purely analytical (no "personal" data). This data is automatically collected by Google as part of having the App on their Play Store.
As above, Google captures the device used (model, Operating system/Android version, etc) as part of the App being on the store in relation to the above - this is not personally identifiable data as such and is the same for every app on the Play Store. If you use any app, you are sharing this information with Google.
The Company will retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a short period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. All data is encrypted in transit via SSL.
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our service is not intended for children. But as we do not collect any personal data, it would not be possible for a child to be identified should they accidentally download and operate the app.
